Fans of the new series, who wish to learn more about the past Doctors will possibly like to try the Virgin Missing Adventures range, which covers Doctors one through to seven in a variety of new adventures, facing some new and some old enemies such as the Cybermen, Time Lords and the Daleks. If you however prefer a quick read, why not try out the Telos novellas – a variety of short stories featuring Doctors from the past.

Fans more accustomed to the classic series may like to try out the Decalog series, which contain many elements of past continuity and expand on many themes of the classic series.
